The League of Animal Artists is committed to ensuring the privacy of our users. This policy describes what user information we collect and how we use it.

To improve our Web site, we use our Web usage logs and cookie data with standard tools to understand how people, in aggregate, are using the site.

We request email and personal information as part of the purchasing and subscription process, as well as, registering for selected services. We use this information to contact our users with information related to the services and/or products if requested, to personalize the service, and to understand the use of the service. A user can choose to remove an email address from our mailing list at anytime. Member email addresses and information cannot be removed while they are an active member since we may need to contact the member regarding membership news and information. As part of our dedication to keeping your privacy, all league email accounts are protected by SpamAssassin, which uses real-time blacklist services, such as Mail-Abuse.org and ORDB.org, to refuse mail blocked by those systems. These services maintain a constantly-updated list of open mail relays (often used for spam) and active spam sources on the Internet. SpamAssassin also uses Vipul's Razor, which is a collaborative spam-tracking database. All this to help keep our member inboxes the way they should be, spam-free!

Member email addresses will be displayed to the public throughout The League's website to assist members in promoting their art talents. Members understand, and agree to, the display of their contact information to the public on The League's website as part of their promotion effort. Member mailing addresses, however, will not be provided to the public without prior written consent from the member.

When using the service, we collect information on Web usage which remains anonymous. This information is used in the aggregate to understand what our users are looking for. Further, we use this information to determine popular pages by measuring clicks and the length of time a user spends on a page. This information is used to deliver and discontinue promotionals in a timely manner.

The League of Animal Artists uses cookies to remember who referred the user to the site. Cookies are also used through some of our services to improve performance and usability. We never store critical or sensitive information, ie credit cards, e-mail, etc., through the use of cookies.
