About Me
Animals and art have been life long passions of mine. As a child I spent hours working on capturing the expressions of my beloved dog Cookie. I realized early on that the eyes are the windows into the soul of every creature and spent extra time getting them just right.
As my life moved forward with new responsibilities I continued to dedicate time to attend art classes at our local community college and Michigan State University. I worked very hard to perfect the pick-up technique with charcoal and used that as my main medium for many years.
Our most recent venture is the creation of Spitten Images Wearable Animal Art. What better way to honor the love between you and your cherished pet than to wear a life-like portrait of him or her over your heart?
By using the photo of your choice I will hand paint your beloved pet, latest or greatest champion, or favorite wildlife creature on the front or back of your jacket or shirt. The one of a kind renderings are done in acrylic, they are washable, and with care they will last for many years.
