I grew up on a midwest farm surrounded by domestic and wild creatures of all kinds. I always loved cats, often having 20 at a time outdoors. As a kid, early in the mornings I would sneak several kittens into my room, then put them back outside before anyone found out. It wasn't until later in life that I discovered the joy of the indoor "companion" cat. Shortly after that I began working with animal rescue groups, fostering dozens of different cats each year. With a career in commercial art, designing ads, brochures and other promotional materials, my creative side cried out for more satisfaction. I turned to the subject I knew best -- cats! Through the love of photography and with my artistic abilities, inherited from generations of creativity, my cat art flourishes with the use of today's computer technology. I purr with excitement that now, with this fantastic technology, I can share my art with you, here on the Web.
