About Me
Art is a way for me to express my love of animals. I am much too sensitive to be actively involved in the care of animals like a doctor or technician.
Therefore, my contribution is through my art. Animals have personalities; they have their little quirks much like humans. My goal is to see
the differences and be able to convey them in my art.
To me, the most important part of creating a realistic pet portrait is the eyes of the animal. The eyes tell you their story; they are the key
to the mysterious creatures that share our world. If you miss the tale of the eye you only have a generic animal. My portraits also help define
the personalities of each pet, which may only be evident to the owner. After all isn’t that is my underlying goal--to please that one person
with a unique portrait of their pet? |
